Original c1970s Jimi Hendrix Rotel Insert Poster
Original 1970s Jimi Hendrix/Rotel insert poster. The poster came with a magazine to promote Rotel hi-fi products. The reverse of the poster has product images and text. The Hendrix artwork is by Guy Peellaert [6 April 1934 – 17 November 2008] – credited in the bottom left corner of the poster. Peellaert was a Belgian artist, painter, illustrator, comic artist and photographer, most famous for his album covers for rock artists like David Bowie (Diamond Dogs) and The Rolling Stones (It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll). He also designed film posters for films like Taxi Driver, Paris, Texas, and Short Cuts.
