Original 1960 United Airlines poster to promote ‘Las Vegas’ as a holiday destination by celebrated artist Stan Galli. The poster was produced in the ‘jet age’ period when overseas holidays were becoming more affordable for the masses but still retained the glamour of earlier days when air travel was the preserve of the wealthy. The poster reminds the public that Las Vegas has day and night time activities, a theme beautifully conveyed in Klein’s poster for TWA airlines which I also have listed.
